Hi, I’m Amanda!
I'm a maternity, child and family photographer based in Kirkland, WA and servicing the Pacific Northwest since 2003. After years of having blank walls in my own homes & seeing my clients also struggle with how to display their family photos, I decided to do something to solve this bare wall problem we all were facing. I restructured my business to provide not only a fun portrait session with beautiful images, but also a custom design experience to show my clients what their images would look like when displayed on their walls in modern wall galleries.
I found professional print labs that care about the planet as much as I do & provide many sustainable & eco-friendly products. I worked with my husband, a former carpenter, to learn the correct way to hang art on a variety of wall surfaces, then expanded my business to include wall gallery installation as well. Amanda Waltman Photography became what you see now:

I’m mama to two little girls who have turned my life upside down & right side out in the most amazing ways. I’ve always been one to photograph life’s major milestones, but it took the arrival of my daughters to realize that often it’s the every day little pockets of time that I want to remember most. I look at the photos on my walls daily, reliving those moments & smiling because my wonderfully crazy life is beautiful. Yours is too & I can’t wait to help document your family’s story!
When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me traveling with my husband & two daughters, pretending I'm Joanna Gaines while doing projects on my fixer upper, or watching Arrested Development for the twentieth (errr...make that thirtieth) time.
